One of products Tarte is best known for is their blushes. They are pigmented, longwearing, and the pans seem to last forever. However, me and Tarte blushes do not get along. I love Tarte as a brand when it comes skin tone based products, they kinda suck. Tarte does not make blush for women of color. This palette seems like it has some darker blushes, but we'll just have to wait and see. Like many of Tarte's palette, this one has circular packaging, but in lieu of a mirror Tarte opted to double the product. So in total, you're getting 8 blushes and 2 highlighters. 

Paint Palette 

Now this product, I'm super excited about. The Tarte paint palette is a full face kit. This giant palette contains 24  eyeshadows, a bronzer, a blush, a highlighter, a mini Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara and nude colored Tarteist lip paint. Tarte has an amazing eyeshadow formula, but they've received backlash in the past for having the same color scheme in every palette. They stepped slightly out of their comfort zone with this palette and I'm really feeling the color story going on here. I'm not super excited for the cheek products but the minis are a nice addition to the set. I love the theme of art that Tarte has going on lately. My fave is the Tarteist (play on the word artist) Clay paint liner. It's a squeezy tube with a mixing base at the top designed to resemble a painter's palette. 

Pretty Paintbox Palette Exclusive to ULTA

Tarte usually always releases 2 collections at the same time, one for ULTA and one for Sephora. This particular launch is just for ULTA. It's a similar concept to the Paint Palette, a full face set, 24 eyeshadows, a bronzer, blush, highlighter, mini mascara, mini lipstick. But this one comes with an additional cheek product and an eyeliner. So this really is a full face set, all you really need is a foundation and eyebrow product and you have a full face of makeup. I'm probably not going to get this one, just because I like the shadows in the other palette a lot more, but this is a good palette.

Tarteist Lip Paint and Liner Set 

In this set, you get 5 Tartiest Lip Paints with their accompanying lip liners. I have nothing but good things to say about Tarteist Lip Paints. PIGMENTED, creamy, comfortable, and they smell like peppermint. I haven't tried their lip liners, but I've heard good things so I'm happy to give this little kit a try.

Maneater Mascara

Honestly the wand looks very similar to the Tarteist Lash Paint wand, but I haven't tried it yet so we'll see if there's a difference in performance. I love the gold and black leopard print packaging though.
